Level 1: Shulman vs Stalla vs Schweser - Instructional Classes

Hi all. I am planning to sit in December 2004 for Level 1.

Any feedback on which instructional classes are best preparation for Level 1 Exam?

where are you located....are you in nyc....if so i would recommend NYIF. They use schweser material.

Yes, I am in NYC.

Any suggestions from CFA NYC candidates or charterholders would be greatly appreciated.

My company reimburses preparatory courses, so I would like to pick a good one!

if money is not a problem i woud go with schweser....otherwise NYIF has a guarantee on their course. if you dont pass you get your money back less the adm. fees. Thats NY Institute of Finance.

I also took NYIF and found it very helpful. However, I took the Shulman package since it comes with their 3 day workshop and online exams (very useful). I would recommend Shulman package over the others.

I should've noted that i too used the shulman product and i found them to have the best value for the buck. The three day workshop which is excellent, is also thrown in with the course offering. I was generally pleased with the level of committment shulman products gave to me. And i would highly recommend them.
