Hello,
I am currently preparing for Level 1. I am taking exam in June 2015, but I am starting to prepare now. I have good background from university as well as from my employment, though after reading some parts, I understood that I have work to do. Considering that I have 8-9 months, I am thinking of devoting 5-7 on weekdays, as well as reading complementary material, when I am not busy at work. Also, my choice of material is Kaplan Schwesser. I am keeping my strategy simple: Reading material, taking notes and going through exercises. I am planning to stick to Schweser Notes, after finishing them read Secret Souce as a review material and doing as much mock exams as possible.
Please, tell me what you think of my appraoch, I am open to suggestions.

I strongly recommend that you also do the curriculum examples and practice problems.
In the final 6 weeks you should do lots of mock exams.

6 weeks of mocks is probably overkill.
i’d say 3-4 should be sufficient.

I think you are starting a little early.
I much rather go hard for 4 months and then you arent remembering things from like 8 months back when you are doing practice exams.

Agree with dwheats. While we all study differently, the longer removed you are from study, the less you’ll remember.
