Hey everyone
For personal reasons my plan of staritng to study got delayed form January to now… plan is to read through all schewser 5 books from now untill april 10th, then do all CFAI cirriculum questions and read secret sauce april 11 to may 15th and f inally take the last three week before exam from may 15th to June 4th off and do practice exams…. you think it’s passable in that time frame? hoping to get 3hrs/day of studying mid week days and 6-8hrs weekends.Thoughts? any suggesstion where to spend more time, which material…?
Thanks
NVC

Hate to be brutally honest but don’t waste your time or money. This can maybe work for Level 1 but not for 2 or 3. (More than) half the battle is learning the exam, particularly the AM essay session, EVEN if you know the material cold.

Doable, but we are not all equal. Not everyone can do it and pass, and not all who study for 6 months pass either. But worth a shot. I’m far behind as of yet myself, planning on taking 15 working days off from work before the exam.

If you can take 3 weeks off before the exam I think it’s doable. I do not envy your next 3 months though…

Ahh you have company..I am just starting now..given the amount of hours you are putting in think it’s doable. I would leave sometime to re-read material (ideally you make condensed notes on the first pass) as you certainly won’t retain a whole lot just from the first reading

You are in good company.I will be starting this Monday. Will only get two weeks off before the exams - so buckle up.This one is a bumpy ride.

27 hours per week X 12 weeks is doable.
Go for it, you have nothing to lose.
Be positive, be optimist, believe in yourself. That will help you pass. Do not second guess your strategy.

I think you should go for it. I haven’t even completed the first pass, and hoping to put in 240 hours from now until June 4th. If anything, you’ll be better prepared for next year.

I think it is more than doable. Take negative comments as motivation. If you can get one week off before the exam, it would be better.

How is one week off better than taking 3 weeks off?

i started in early December but fell behind the last few weeks.
STILL I plan to put in at least 400 hours in the next few weeks.. at least 300 will be doing mocks

Better than having none.

OP says he is taking 3 weeks off…that’s why your suggestion of taking just one as being better confused me.

Lucky OP then. Strengthens my argument further that it is more than doable.
