I know, its a bit premature to ask this.
Is there any practice essay evaluation service for the AM section, that can evaluate our essays (quality and the parameters that CFAI is looking for) and give feedback?

The short answer is no. The reason is that graders cannot share how exams are scored. That’s the system.

May not be official services/sources. Perhaps, some course/ classes that provide such services by charging $$? Or may be, if in AF, we get some volunteers (who passed L3) and are willing to assist :)

I struggle with this and passed. This is my thinking – my thinking only.
  • CFAI provides previous AM papers with guildeline answers. They don’t tell us how to score our papers, no do they share the scoring methodology. But we can scutinze how answers are to be worded. CFAI also provides, on their website, an FAQ section that discusses how to write our answers. Learn to work within these constraints, because this is how CFAI wants us to do it, and it’s their game.
  • Schweser also has practice exams with full scoring methodology. But also know that experienced L3 graders sign a pledge not to discuss how papers are graded. So if you pay attention to Schweser, you may be following something that is completely made up conjecture. I think Schweser is a complete distraction and could, in my view, lead candidates down the wrong path.
Just my thoughts…

Thanks a lot mate. And hearty congratz on your results :)

Stick to the CFAI disclosed AM guidelines. That is your best shot. No one, not even people who passed L3 will be able to help you anybetter than the guidelines as no one really knows how the exam is graded.
