I figured that I may share some of tips after passing level 3 (I had first time pass on all exams and was granted CFA designiation last month)
1. stick to the textbook all the time, if you have spare time, do all the sample questions again and again on the text book as it is the most useful reference you have;
2. if you ask me whether the notes helpful, I would say, largely no~~~~
3. try to remember all the formula including the derivatives, you will find you may be passing simply cos of one question related to it;
4. try to talk to someone who works in the asset managment industry as that would help you to understand some of the key concept;
5. if you start now, you have plenty of time to review the text book at least twice, hopefully more , try to remember each sample question if you could;
6. practics makes perfect~~~~~~
7. you need good luck
