I perosnally have already went through two level I exams and failed both (was very close on second one, but scored low on ethics, and last SSs derivatives etc. )

What I observed is that percentage of the following type of questions are rising:

2. When prices are rising, the use of the LIFO inventory method as compared to FIFO will result in:
Cost of Goods Sold Inventory Levels
A. Higher Higher
B. Higher Lower
C. Lower Lower
D. Lower Higher

---------------------------------------------------------

Here, actually two questions are integrated into one question;
And when the percentage of these type of question rises in overall quastions it becomes very tough; you hit one-miss another and whole question is missed Does anyone know why they do that?
---------------------------------------------------------

P.S. What do you prefer, a test with 100 ordinary questions or 50 above-mentioned-type-of questions?

Well, I know what you mean in terms of the type of question, but the topic being tested is still one topic. The two questions are one and the same and its still the same topic.

I agree with you,
This kind of question can be very frustrating yhen you know one part of the question but you are not sure for the other part.
be sure to have a deep comprehension of every topic. Don't just rely on memory.

This type of questions increases the possibilty of deleting one alternative at least u can guess the the other.. In one way those type of questions are better among multiple choice questions.. at least for me:)

I promise you will see a lot of this kind of question....you will have almost 480 questions though only 240 are listed......

That's an easy question :)...I dont mind them but make sure you practice a lot of that type.

I've got an easier explanation for such questions. It's a multiple choice exam on a computer graded answer sheet with 4 dots. To have 4 possible answers, you need two binary outcomes. That was true when I took the test many moons ago.

You mean Joey that they can't make it easier and ask what will happen to COGS, higher or lower and then we have a 50% chance instead of a 25% chance of getting it right. Come on they dont need to use all 4 dots b/c they are there! Do you use all the TP in the bathroom b/c its there???

HAHA! I'm only kidding. Like you said they need to have that format to have 4 potential answers.

I've found that if you have an institutional toilet with a powerful flush, you can just take the end of the roll and drop it in the water and repeatedly flush. The TP just unrolls itslef naturally until there is none left. Desn't work at home, though.

Level 1 is not getting more difficult, but rather the candidates are getting dumber.
