Level One Exam Locations

I am planning on writing level one exam in december. I am from Prince George, BC, the home of UNBC. There is no CFA society in Prince George. THe closest ones are 500 miles away. Do you reckon I will have to travel to one of those cities. Do I have to write it at the nearest CFA society city or if I apply early enough will I be able to get it moved to a nueteral site in my hometown ? I am going to pay my fees in july.

I wouldn�t trust an examiner to find Prince George in the middle of winter.

I would recommend using what ever means you have available to make a run for it. Destination: Vancouver, Edmonton or further if you can make it. The following transportation methods would suffice; snow shoes, skies, dog and sled or snowmobile. If you chose to drive, then I advise waiting until summer and trying the June test. Albeit, I forgot which weekend you have summer on.

After you have been gone long enough to have the CFA under you belt, you might be tempted to return. Please don�t do this as the culture shock would surely kill you.

I confess to not having touched snow during the last two decades. Therefore I can not offer further advice.
