I had him for several semesters of undergrad and found him to be far from your description. Maybe there is a meaningful difference between those videos and his live course.

I agree there must be…he gets nothing but rave reviews on this forum so who am I to comment. He seems to have been a great help to a great many people and that has to be the evidence to go off rather than some old Schweser vids.
