Leveraging CFA in software/technology industry.

If it’s anyone here who know how to leverage CFA Charter in software/tech domain?
Basically software products act as an extension/optimization/automation to any industry. So the answer most likely leads to possibility to work with finance software products. Still it’s interesting to learn from other people experience.
