Linkedin pet peeve

When someone friends me on linkedin and I try to click on their list of connections and it says "this member is not sharing his connections". I'm going to make it my waste-of-time project this weekend to go through my list and unfriend everyone who privated their connections list. What is the point of being on linkedin if you're just going to keep your network to yourself.
 
Are you a DB if you put all sorts of detail on your work experience, etc. on there?

I haven't done this yet but have been considering it.

I think those recommendations are kind of weak.
 
I don't, but some people do. I notice the people who generally put a lot of detail on their profile are either headhunters or people looking for jobs. I don't like the recommendations feature either, last thing I want is someone writing a grammatically-incorrect, spelling error-filled paragraph about me on my profile.
 
yall do the pay-for "professional" linked in or the free one?
