In which way someone should reference to the candidacy right after the exam on Linkedin for example?
Is it okay, to state “CFA Level 1 candidate” even the exam is done and you are waiting for the results? Or is it necessary to delete this information until you are registered for the next exam?

When you are waiting for the result of Level I exam, you are still a Level I Candidate I believe.

Untill you’ve passed, you’re still a CFA candidate I guess. Bluebook Certificate has a very funky button which adds your certificate automatically to your linkedIn profile. :)

Passing or failing is not a determinant in your status as a candidate. You are a candidate if (and only if):
-you have taken an exam and are awaiting results
or
-you have registered to sit for an exam administration.
