Currently studying for Level I while I’m in Tokyo. I’m just using the books for now, and doesn’t seem to be any live courses anywhere in Japan.
closest thing I found is a review session in May, taught by Hamilton Lin. ~$1100 for 4 days… Worth it? How important is a live class?

That is really expensive. I am taking a 5 month prep (sat only) and total (+schweser material) was $1400.
For me prep course helps because it forces me to stick to a schedule, and it’s nice to see other people going through the process as well (I am youngest in my firm by 10 years haha so no one to commiserate with me)
I am in US now but I am from Yokohama :) as you probably know Japanese love qualifications so I would be surprised if there are no classes… can you try web live courses or is the sign-up date too late (you’re June cand I assume?) From what I see it seems like CMA is more common.
Actually quick google gave me this I didn’t read at all so I have no idea what it’s about but maybe might help?
