i seem to have lost all the motivation to study all of a sudden….. i do not know what to do and i dont know how much at the moment my brain has retained …. guys please help me and tell me what to do

EVERYBODY feels like they haven’t retained everything. There is complex material and it’s normal to forget portions of it. This is the most important time for studying because you’re less likely to forget material you studied in May/June than what you studied in March.
All you have to do is get a little bit better than 2 out of 3 questions correct and you should be in good shape.

get some sleep, walk, exercise and similar stuff. just relax, it helps me.

Hang on. Just few days phir same normal routine awaits you.

A bit of relaxation is always great! Take the time off to catchup with friends/loved ones or exercise, and then let the exercise endorphins or oxytocin from your friends power your last few days of study! Don’t let the dopamine of distraction take you off-track. Apologies for chemically worded pep talk :P
This is now the home lap! Don’t stop now!
As they say, pain is temporary, pride is permanent!

so what should it be ??…
i was thinking reading the chapters summary..revising all the formulas today
and do some items sets tomorrow

Just think if you get about Band 10 for till date effort, & you need to little more revision to pass, so its better to study few extra hour then a year right, it will motivate you to the core.

Thinking about band 10 creeps me out damn that would be worst thing on the planet lol. But yeah everyone going through the same phase, i think i am tired of the books and cannot take more. Reading case studies takes up so much time better read some summaries look over EOC that’s what i am trying to do. What are you guys doing

Ya I am trying to see Summary & EOC, there are some weak areas trying to cover up.started reading Ethics.as well.

I was feeling the same 3-4 of days ago. Then I started thinking about endless hours over the last 3-4 months that I had put, the sacrifices I made etc and told myself that I can’t let myself slip in the last week. Then even if I fail, at least I’d know that I made good efforts and didn’t bog down under pressure or boredom.
Focus on the summaries, formulaes on the last few days and more importantly, be calm and focused. God willing, everything would be fine! Good Luck!

I feel my final mental strength helped me sailed through the L2. Hope to continue it one more time :)

Just after the Level 1 exams I felt it is utterly impossible for me to do this again..
Job + CFA took a toll.
It’s getting back to normal now..

hina, i’m going through the same thing…it’s my 3rd attempt at L2 now after scoring a Band 10..but i’m going through the material again like I am a new candidate. This time grilling the little things that I might have missed out on.
So maybe take a couple of weeks break and come back to study but look to see if you need to change your approach then pace yourself all the way to Jun/2015.
And the other guy is right “Pride is permanent”.

I believe the most important thing for retakers is to start studying in December .. you need to get yourself out of the studying mood and pressure so that you avoid burning out too early.
