Mail from CFA Institute

It’s all good, I’m calm. Was just saying there’s no need to be irrational or to be an a-hole. I can see you mean a-hole jokingly though and am glad you didn’t cause anybody nightmares (could see the dark humor in doing that), Best of luck to us all!
 
That e-mail did not look like it was from CFAI. It was sitting in spam and the email address sent from was not the @cfainstitute.org. It was something like either @cfainstitute.info or @cfa-institute.info. I am not sure if that is a legit CFAI email address. If its really spam, for a spam email it looked very authentic. I did not click on any links in the email though. Also if its really spam and not from CFAI, I wonder how they obtained email addresses of all June 2015 CFA candidates.

Actually I stand corrected, both those domains @cfainstitute.info and @cfa-institute.info per https://who.godaddy.com are actually registered to CFAI. But this is the first time in 2 years in the program I have received an email from those addresses.
