Make flashcards from CFA eBook?

Hi everyone,
For those of you who purchased the eBook version of the CFA curriculum, is it possible to copy and paste formulas from the book? (Is it stored as an image or text?)
I’d like to copy and paste formulas to create electronic flashcards (maybe on Anki or Quizlet). Thanks for your feedback. If that works, I’ll go ahead and buy the eBook.

you need some kind of software like “Snippng Tool” to snip the formula … and paste elsewhere.

I would do a print screen and copy to paint.

Actually it does let you copy text into MS. Word (for example), but the text looses most of its format structure. Also, it adds automatically a citation after each paste, which has to be removed from Word thereafter. In my expirience, it becomes a time-water, trying to remove these citations and re-format the text.
In terms of flashcards, I usually like to write-them out myself. I know its probably more time-consuming, but when I write it out myself with a pen, I tend to memorize it better/ or right away.
