Membership dues

Anyone knows what are the amounts due for CFAI and society(NYSSA)?
Do I have to pay both to get charter?

Second one is optional

for CFAI - $275
for NYSSA - $325 for the first year inclusive of the $100 one time fee.
Local society is optional.

Have you been invoiced by NYSSA?

I paid my local fees the same time as the CFAI ones, it just automatically showed up. That said, my soceity is not the NYSSA.
