I am applying for this job:
Prepare position reports for FX, Money, Securities and Derivative Products.
Prepare profit and loss reports for FX, Money, Securities and Derivative Products.
Reconcile the positions and P/L between Front Office and Back Office.
Reconcile the Mark-to-Market figures between the booking entries with Derivative products system.
Maintain the existing macro and generate new macro if necessary.
which seems more like a back office job but the pay is comparable to that of an entry quant analyst or even higher.
Should I look for quant analyst jobs that deals with options pricing, var model instead?
A quant analyst job probably won't pay me as high as the middle office job as they are local security house and the back/middle office job is in an international known bank.
