Guys, what is the minimum grade to pass level 1? I ve heard 75%, it sounds CRAZY...

the general thought is that 70 will pass you.

if you score in the high 60s, you'll probably pass too depending on ethics.

but nobody really knows how they do it.

i think 75 is a little high for the estimate. i've heard 70 is a GUARANTEED pass. like zizou said, high 60's is probably the MPS.

I've read their article on that (in the steps - or sth like that), and they say there's no absolute way they use to determine the pass rate.

Most of the time it has been 70% correct answers on the whole exam, but recently (say 5-10 last years) it seems like they've switched to a pass rate of 70% of the top 1st decile for that particular examination.

Now they say they decide on a case by case basis and you can't be sure of the way they are gonna choose.
I hope the second one will be chosen this time... it allows you to be graded relative to the exam difficulty and the general level of the candidates.

what real exam score do you think the mock and schweser exam scores translate to

Who knows...

But i heard from people that already passed the real exam last year that they're quite similar (i mean schweser and the actual exam), and some guy posted a little summary of what he thought were the probabilities to pass given your score on schweser practice tests. It was last month i think, but here's what i remember:

Score -> Probability to pass:
90% -> 100%
80% -> 95%
75% -> 85%
70% -> 75%

Don't know if these predictions are correct, but he seemed to be quite certain of what he was telling...
