Like some of the above posters (but clearly not all), I think you should never pick a major just because you think it'll fit your profession. Your professional interests will change all the time, as well as your academic interests. However, the further ahead you look, the more likely things will be uncertain. My suggestion is just to consider your possible career ambitions but then go with the major that interests you the most.
If you force yourself to do something that you don't like or that doesn't interest you, you will NEVER be good at it -- I guarantee you of this fact. You will also likely dread your undergraduate days if you force yourself to study something you don't care about.
Bottom line is that most highly successful people are good at what they do because they're committed to working hard and they enjoy what they do. Don't think too far ahead -- otherwise you'll overlook the present. And the fact is, if you don't even know what you're going to study in college, there's no way that you'll know what profession will fit you best.
Just give yourself a break, look at the things that interest you the most, and pick one of them. You are entrusting way too much responsibility in people on an anonymous internet forum, and you need to just figure out who you are and what you like to do.
