Mock Exam: Is it worth it?

I’m debating signing up for the CFA level III mock exam through Schweser and just wanted to see if others have done these exams in the past and if they found it to be helpful. I’ve taken the actual CFA level III exam before but want to make sure I’m fully prepared this time around.

I never understood the benefit of these. But that’s just me. You’re paying for what exactly, to replicate the feel of an exam hall? Seems a great way to milk some extra dollars from those people who are overly concerned about everything in life.
 
I hear where you’re coming from, I guess what I’m really looking for is a litte more feedback on the essay portion that what’s provided in the Schweser mocks. Anything thoughts or alternatives would be much appreciated.

Schwesers style and CFAI style in morning q differ a lot. I’d rather do more CFAI q then taking their mock and waste money.
 
I feel better saving the $100 at least now. Thanks for the feedback everyone!
 
Ask around for CFAI mock exams. Go to the nearest library where all the ugly girls study. Bring a timer. Take the 100$ to bar afterwards and see where it takes you.
