For economics in mock 2, I wrote down all my selected answers.

After the submission, I got a score of 58 on econ which sure made me feel like @#$%&.

After checking the answers in the pdf file, i should have had a 70!

if this isnt valid...how the fk are you supposed to check your weak areas??

You know come to think of it, I did the exact same thing and noticed that I should have gotten a higher score...

But looking at your answers on this forum, I think you don't have any weak areas..

CONSPIRACY THEORY: They want you to panic about failing and buy more preparatory materials. DISCUSS.

Trader,

Econ is one of my stronger subjects and that is what killed my score on Mock 2. Interestingly, I got a 58% as well.

Can't say that I wrote down my answers or that I am positive I did better or anything, for all I know I made some dumb mistakes and was scored correctly, but I typically score in the 70s and 80s for econ. Who knows?

What bs? #%@

100 bucks and they can't even give the correct scores.

For the low scores, I could care less, as I revise those areas anyways.

Concerned about getting wrong high scores and then not reviewing that bit!

not good cfai...not good

You're surprised? They sell you a test for 60USD and they don't even give you a copy of the questions.

Which section of the Standards of Professional Conduct has CFAI least likely (but not necessarily) not violated on the mock examinations?
A. I(A) Knowledge of the law
B. I(C) Misrepresentation
C. III(B) Fair Dealing
D. All (or some) of the above
E. [Enter additional ambiguity here]

this is strange, I was wondering about one of my scores too. After I read the answer sheet I felt like I should have got more, but I can't see how it can be wrong. The computer just marks against a list of answer codes, so I'm not sure what to think.

I do think its appalling though that you pay $100 for two tests and don't even get the questions!!

Whats even worse is that if I'd bought them a few months back they have cost me a lot less 's than they did last week! doh!

Strange, I got 58% in econ, and after looking at the answers I was thinking "I think I put that." I think it's just coincidence though.

So in a nutshell, they're pretty much throwing out the same random scores for all the users regardless of what their answers are.

@#% great!

I noticed the same thing... I think it was Portfolio management (not very many Q's, so easy to calculate score). I remember on the Mock I got a score that was not mathematically possible (on that section, that is).

How about FS analysis scores? I usually do OK here, but not on this exam at all. But somehow I'm scoring close to 90% in ethics? It all seems backwards. Not sure.....

In retrospect, it probably would have made more sense to spend the 180 minutes they give you retyping their questions and answers into a separate word document. Then, you could take the test on your own time afterwards and still have the correct answers and determine your own score.

More time consuming, but definitely more helpful at the end.

Yea I just took the CFAI mock exam too, and as I was reviewing their poorly written answer explanations I got the same feeling... that I should've had a much higher score!

Now I'm just wishing I wrote down my answers so I could rescore... Oh well, taking mock two now!

Thinking about all the things that $100 could have gone to..., but at least I was exposed to a few problems that made me go o_O??

Then the optimist in me says it's a good thing; it made me worried, so now I'll go over a few topics more than I would, and then I'll be more prepared.
