Mock Exams vs CFAI Topic Tests

I am curious how I should be feeling given my performance on the mock exams vs the topic tests on CFAI. I have taken three mock exams with the scores of
#1 58%
#2 65%
#3 62%
However, on the topic tests on CFAI, I have completed all topics (besides Derivatives) and I have scored over 70% on each topic with some topics above 80%. Obviously I am not asking about relative difficulty compared to the actual exam and topic tests but just curious how I seem to be performing so much better on the CFAI topic tests.
I have not taken the mock exam provided on CFAI yet. Would love to hear anyone’s thoughts and if they are seeing very similar results.
 
Did you try the mock exams provided by CFAI or third party ? I find that the questions by Schweser are much easier than CFAI ones. Has anyone experienced the same thing ?
 
My scores above on the 3 mock exams are from Schweser. I have not taken the Mock CFAI exams yet but plan too. Your statement about Schweser being much easier than CFAI is what led me to start thread.
I am not sure how I should be feeling given my scores of the Mock exams from Schweser and scoring over 70% on each topic test on CFAI. In a few topics I even scored over 80%. I seem to be performing worse where most are saying you should be performing better.
 
I have taken one schweser and on CFAI mock and also topic tests.
Schweser mock score - 70%
CFAI - 68% in AM session and 53% in PM session.
I am getting 55-80 % in ethics topic tests, 60% in FRA, Fixed income and Equity 80% and 67% respectively. In Economics below 60%.
