I can't remember the question. I just remember I choose corralation. Other options are including mean, variance and another one

didnt kno this one, first chose correlation then changed it to mean :( totally admit that never even looked at the meaning of multi variance or uni variance, tot my fault here.

i might've -1 this easy one- i def didn't study enough of my easy quant definitions... shame on me. overall i think i did ok on quant though.

bannisja - what's the easy answer?

I have also put correlation but strangely can't seem to remember the question.

I've no idea what multi-variance distribution. Can one single distribution have two variance??

i have no idea what the answer is and still don't. maybe i put variance? i don't remember, but i know i didn't study it. bad me.

multivariate dist. have more than one variable, so correlation or covariance becomes important.

it was correlation...

multivariate distribution...you have to account for the correlation between the variables

a univariate distribution only had one variables, no no correlation exists between the independent variables

Oh, multivariate vs univariate right? Not multivariance (a term I have never heard despite being a statistics prof for 10 yrs).

i think the qn was what is the differentiating factor between uni and multi.. in multi you have to account for...

i marked correlation too.

yup correlation..
a multivariate distribution can be defined by
n number of means & variances
&
0.5n (n-1) correlations

just finished ss3 so this is pretty fresh for me :)

Joey you a stat prof...you're god...I just don't get this stuff...it sucks 'coz iam in risk management and stats plays a big part
