Hello everyone,
As you can tell I'm new here and need some advice. I have a BS in Math and 2 actuarial exams. Unfortunately, my location (a very small town in SC) does not allow me to pursue an actuarial career. I am considering going for a CFA, however I am a little worried about how to go about getting experience. What positions can I look into? What are good sites and good recruiters you would recommend?
Thank you

www.indeed.com is my favorite aggregator.

You might want to look into working in asset management for an insurance company.... or move to a big city like Charlotte or Atlanta.

Danteshek -

Sorry for the hijack. Did you end up taking the Troika S&T position in Moscow?

The offer did not come. I'll be in New York soon and will follow up.

I'm starting to think it makes a lot of sense for me to finish CFA at my current company.

Going to Moscow is a huge risk, and I won't do it unless the perfect opportunity comes.

But Onegin, you have inspired me to re-publish my resume at www.headhunter.ru

I got some good leads last time I did it.
