Not sure how I feel about Q Bank

Schweser Q Bank seems very straight to the point / easy. I’ve only done about 80 questions spread throughout and so far it’s definitely not going to gear your mind to think beyond. Such as taking a formula and reversing it to solve for another variable. The Q Bank feels like it’s just testing the basics and not actually testing the depth of the material…
Anyone else have a different opinion who has done more than 80 questions? I’ll continue to do it when i’m bored, but so far I haven’t found any value yet. I was hoping to get some more practice with problems and making sure I use the write formula etc etc.
 
I have been using the Qbank for about 6 months and create custom quizzes of 50-60 questions at a time, sometimes using all topics, or I focus on certain areas I may be revising at that particular time. I completely agree that the questions can be very straightforward and nothing like what you would expect in the exam e.g. calculate Sharpe ratio (with all required information provided)… Having said that, I have found them of some use in reinforcing certain concepts and reaffirming my understanding, I don’t think it does any harm but this late in the day, time is probably better spent on practice exams, CFAI topic tests, end of reading questions etc.

Ya already did the CFAI Mocks for the last 15 years AM And PM. reviewed them all have notes on all questions I got wrong too

15 years AM & PM?? Wow! Do you study full time? I think I’m in a similar position to many other L3 candidates that doing a full mock exam AM & PM is only possible on weekends. I am avoiding past exams from too long ago since curriculum has changed since then, perhaps last 5 years is as far as I’ll go back, plus the schweser mocks and CFAI exam too. Hope that’s enough!!
