... and you see that you passed, are you going to take Level 2 this June, or wait a year? If you failed, are you going to try again in June, wait 'til December, or just give up?
 
I'm taking another exam in June, just not sure which one it'll be at this point.
 
Study for lvl 2 until our scores come out:

If I pass, and i feel like i have a shot. June 2009 it is.


If I fail, I go back to lvl 1 and June 2009 most certainly!
 
If I fail, I would quit.
If I pass, I have to decide whether to take L2 in June 2009.

I have a good job in IT. Taking L1 is to broaden my knowledge, or possibly to make a career change (chance seems to be slim right now). It was a big challenge for me without any finance/economics background. It would be a big achievement if I pass.
 
IF I pass, I'm definitely going for L2 in June. The prospect of cutting a year off of the time it takes to finish this thing is my motivation. I haven't decided if I'll start studying before we get our results...I feel pretty good about my chances of passing, so I might.
 
how is everyone dealing with this issue? i don't want to order materials until i know that i've passed, even though i wouldn't mind just taking a couple of weeks off then start studying again in january.
 
The consensus from the L2 boards (I asked at one point) was it is totally doable to take 2 months off from studying and begin studying for Level 2 after results are released.

I'm starting no matter what in February for the June 2009 Exams

Whether its Level I again or on to Level II who knows


(Thinking: "Level II, Level II, Level II, Level II, Level II, Level II")
 
the real question is does anyone have the cajones to order stalla/schweser now for level II. pretty hefty sunk cost if you don't pass though, but if you're confident enough... it's a nice headstart.

Lots of people do it. The trick is going to be managing burnout. You young bucks should have no problem.
 
Damn.. I need a f**c**g break.. my brain is fried with this L1. How can u guys even start thinking for L2 .. just one day after the exam. I might start L2 in Mid Jan.. such that I don;t waste too much time either side..

If I fail this time.. than I can swiftly move onto L1 back

If I pass I get a 18 day leverage.

I am not doing anything until Jan 10..period.
 
worked my ar$e off for this and am definately quitting if i dont get through. same rules wont apply for level 2 and 3 but definately for this.

someone gave me their Level 2 secret sauce. im going read that from cover to cover in early jan, assess the difficult areas, and start reading the tougher ones early on.
