All of the samples were online based and you could not see the questions again after you answered them. However, I do remember seeing some VERY similar questions on the real exam that were on the practice tests from CFAI.
I plan on getting every sample from CFAI for LII next year.
I did all five available CFA Institute online sample exams. I thought they were the closest ones I saw to the actual test.
I thought the Schweser L1 book 6 and question bank were significantly harder although still good practice.
I never got below 70 on a full sample test but never got above 75, and I never got > 70 on more than 4 of 10 sections. I averaged < 70 on three sections.
On the actual exam I got >70 on all but one section (one of the ones I averaged < 70). And by the afternoon session I was way more fried than when I took the practice tests.
Bottom line, I think the online practice exams are well worth taking and if you're pretty comfortable you can get >70 on them you're probably in pretty good shape for your test.
def worth the money. very identical to the real thing, i suggest u start saving up for them. They are worth doing once u get thru the material though, and not before.
