Does anyone know if they explicity ask for the expresison in option calculations ? example “Show the expression for the profit in a covered call”
profit = -max(0, St-X) + St - S0 + C0
Or am I just supposed to be able to calculate it and determine what the actualy profit is. I’m struggling with the expressions while I don’t have an issue actually calculating what the profit would be.
Would certainly be nice if I didn’t need to show the option expression.
