Optional segment

How many of you actually read the optional segment for derivatives?? Optional segments cover roughly 90% of the derivatives text. Are they trying to play us by labeling it optional?

I am going back and reading some of the optional material now that I am finished…but nah…if it’s labeled optional, it’s truly optional in my opinion.

They publish a new version every month, so make sure to check. A lot of those optional segments aren’t really optional…
