PA Trading and Ethics

Being totally anonymouse, how may of you have proken Personal Account trading rules while employed???

I'm not talking about insider trading. Just minor things like not informing your firm of personal trades.

Do you think that it is common within the industry?

It's very crazy (you get fired for doing it), unethical, unnecessary, and stupid. Those rules protect everybody including you.

with Joey... my work actually gets my PA statements so I would have to have a secret account to do this which just screams ubsurd.

And you would have to lie on your brokerage application to get one or open it in someone else's name (which creates all kinds of other issues).
