Pass Failing 4 Sections

Hello All,
Figured I’d finally make an AF account now that I have something unique to post. I took Level 1 in December and passed all sections over 70, but during my studying for June Level 2 I wasn’t able to study nearly as much and just managed to squeeze out a pass while failing 4 sections (alt inv, econ, deriv & corp fin).
I knew after writing the exam that it was going to be close and was very relieved when the results finally got posted. I thought it was interesting though, because in all the posts I’ve ever read people normally say “you MIGHT still pass if you fail 3 sections”. I’ve never read about a pass with failing 4.
I’m going to make sure I study just a little bit more for Level 3, but for now I guess we can add this outlier to the data set!

That’s impressive, considering two of those four sections were 36 pointers. You must have been the “=” in the “<=50”. Congrats!
 
Man that’s close. I failed four sections last year, in Alt, Econ, PM and Quant and ended up Band 6! Congrats!
 
Thanks guys. And Rex, I got above 70-100 in everything else.
Coming out, I felt confident on all the Ethics/FRA/Equity and Quant questions so I’m pretty sure thats what saved me.

do you think we should get a retab? I’m not happy about this coz I really thought I nailed those sections.
 
I also passed with <=50 in four sections (one of which was ethics). Most likely had 50% in a few of those sections to have passed. The difference between <=50 and 51-70 can be only one question (e.g., 3/6 vs 4/6) for a section with a single item set.

Not sure if serious. Like 98% of the time I’d be convinced this was a joke but right now I can’t tell.
 
I’m serious about the failed sections and the fact that I passed the exam.
I was just being sarcastic about the retab…but I seriously thought I had nailed those sections. What if I did ask for a retab even tho I passed and they found out that their scantron machine made a mistake on 1 question and I was actually a Band 10!
 
I passed this year with 5 sections under. But, I think I got the ethics hug/bump/high five. Whatever you call it.
