sorry to hear that .. but dont give up. I failed fist in 2013 with band 7, very similar result like yours. Failed like 6 or 7of them in AM and was totally surprised, why i failed.
My reason for failure was i never really practiced the essay exam and timed myself, and compared my writing to actual answers. Perhaps you have something similar - as your PM score is much better than AM.
Did you finish the AM session? I would think it was a timing/practice issue, as clearly you knew your materials in PM sesson.

I have applie for the workex approval today. I hope teaching finance subjects to MBA class counts (5yrs) + 2 yrs of KPO
