Pierre - How'd you go dude?

good man, feeling pretty confident, just glad it’s over though. Finally had time today at lunch to get new shoes and socks for myself. Also on the agenda this week is to hit the drycleaners to finally get my work trousers cleaned (I don’t dare reveal how long it’s been since I had them dry cleaned).

will u please tell me from which providers did u study….and was elan the most representative of the exam
 
I had the notes from Schweser and used the videos from Elan. I only used CFAI for EOCs and did some of the BBs for sections I wasn’t confident.
The Schweser notes were great but the Elan videos really helped on stuff that Schweser didn’t cover clearly. The Elan videos were great in that they really gave you an intuitive feel for some of the trickier material like Quant/FRA.
I’m glad I didn’t listen to people who said you needed to read the CFAI text.
Then again, maybe I failed.

yes, well played… pierre’s forum activity SERIOUSLY dropped off as the test approached but I’m really curious as to how he felt about the harder French version of the exam.
 
maybe he cracked under the pressure and didn’t show up, not even helping us with the curve.
 
He might have just decided to retire to a small coastal village of the cote d’ zur never to hear or see the cfa material again….after being there a few times it is highly tempting, best place ever
