I failed 2015 Level II Band 10. Feels bit terrible but over it now…
I know i didn’t spend enough time practising (didn’t do any mock before the exam) and 2015 turned into a mock for 2016.
I studied only Schweser, few EOC curriculum questions and listened to few old dated IFT videos.
Now questions for my friends in this forum:
a. Should i buy printed curriculum again? I ‘ve 2015 material, do we know what exactly are the changes. I’m not a ebook person.
b. Schweser books - do i buy again the latest version? Same I’ve 2015 with 6 mock tests.
c. Any other books or videos that i should buy that could move me inch forward from Band 10 to a pass?
please advise.

I can’t say anything about the changes in this years’ curriculum, but I had the impression that the 2015 curriculum had been changed quite a lot so that I wouldn’t expect too many changes this year. You could have a look into the ebook version of the curriculum and then decide whether to buy the printed books. In my understanding you can order the printed books ever after registration.
for me the CFAI vignettes that you can access online under your candidate resources were very helpful and I can strongly recommend those. What also helped a lot was Wiley’s 11th hour guide which was available in March I think.

Althought I just passed L1 last year I am shocked at how little the CFAI online practice tests were. It is like a topic based mock and I feel really prepared me well. Glad to hear they are great for L2 also.

You should not have to buy new print curriculum or schweser notes for 2016. Like other said, not much has changed from ‘15 to ‘16. If there are new readings, you can just do them from the e-curriculum. It seems like newer readings have a knack of showing up on the test.
If there was one thing I would recommend doing, it would be to get Wiley’s videos. Peter and Basit are awesome. Especially Peter. He is the best teacher out of everyone teaching CFA courses online.
