as i wind down ( i will say goodbye soon and not return here), i’d like for us to share some funnies.
that one idiot who does the terminator in the shower is an all time great.
there a story about some dude who really s*** on himself in the exam as he didnt want to waste time
what else?

Nothing funny about the CFA exams for me… the studying sucked the life out of me >_
I was, surprised to see some people at the exam room, from highschool/ friends of friends, so that’s the only thing pleasant about the program.
 
A guy said he was going to date Nana Hachiko if he passed level 3. Did he pass? If yes, Nana hope you guys are dating now?

The only funny thing I’m aware of was back in level 1. My dad was waiting outside the exam center to pick me up with a whole lot of other people. He said that at about 5:20pm the doors burst open and an indian/pakistani guy jumps out, sees his friend and yells “Akmed, partyyyyyy”!!!! Ever since then I would always call my dad after the exam and say “Akmed, partyyyyy”.
 
I think my fav was when i took my L2 two months ago. when we sat after the break waiting for the pm session to begin, the guy sitting next to me said “wow the exam was not bad, it was easier that i had thought it would be”. I just smiled sourly as i ran out of time in the am session and had to guess the whole quant section which i had left to be done last.
50 mins into the pm session, the “ooohhh haaahh” “what the feck” ”hhhh” “derivative sucks” whispers came from his side. I tried my best to concentrate and tried not to laugh. The proctor stood beside him and he kept on sighing. At one point he put his face on his palm, sobbing quietly.
Thanks to the distraction i ended up guessing 15 questions.
After the session the (now) red eyed guy said “i took L1 dec. i shud’ve deferred taking L2 to june next year. Not prepared” i just smiled
 
I took Level 3 once in Istanbul and failed. I was planning to work there longer, but got a better pay offer from a turkish company in Moscow. I moved to Moscow 2 weeks after the exam.
After taking Level 3 in Moscow, I learned that the CFA exam is cancelled in Istanbul because of anti government protests. I felt so relieved that I hadn’t stayed in Istanbul. Of course, I felt bad for candidates in Istanbul because I know how difficult it was for them to wait another year.
I know it ain’t funny, but a good life story I guess :)
 
Some of my friends think CFA program has something to do with taxes. When I passed, they asked me if I can do their tax returns this year.

i guess he failed and had to resort to option (b), his girl friend…..lucky you!
