power functions on TA BAII plus professional calculator

Hi All,
I think my calculator is behaving funny or I am doing something wrong while calculating nth root of any number.
For eg, If I want to calculate 3rd root of 125, I press 125 then (yx) then 3 then (+/-) and (=) and it doesnt gives me 5 as an answer. It shows 0.000000512 as an answer.
I just want to find out 3rd root of 125 or for that matter Nth root of any number.
How can I get desired result?

I dont’ know if there is a better way but I’ve always done:
125
(yx)
( 1 / 3 )
=
Including the parenthasis above for 1/3 calculation

Or take 125 to the .333333333 power.

Nimtree - what you are calculating with your keystrokes is y^(-3), which is 1/y^3
This is not equal to the third root of y
