The will I pass game!?

CFA Sample 1: 56
CFA Sample 2: 71
CFA Mock 1: 68%

Schweser 1 am - 69
Schweser 1 pm - 62
Schweser 2 am - 71
Schweser 2 pm - 74
Schweser 3 am - 74
Schweser 3 pm - 75

The trend is upward!

Going to review 3 pm tonight, hit some additional FSA, and take Mock 2 tomorrow!
 
Was scoring in the 60s on CFAI sample exams due to over analysis / simple mistakes earlier this week.

I literally sh!t my pants on those scores and relaxed a little, cleared my mind and just went to the library and sat down and took the Stalla 3hr Practice Exam 1 : AM.

I missed 10 problems (110/120) and got 91.67% with about 8min to spare. I should not be as worried now, right? I plan to take a few more practice exams and the CFAI mocks.

Thanks man - I need the encouragement as I am a re-taker as well. I don't want to face this thing again.

I just broke 75 today on a simulated exam. I'm hoping the exam tomorrow will go just as well.

Yeah - I saw that and was jealous b/c I hadn't broken above 70 at that point and thought I was really f-ed, lol.

Nice job man - good luck in the next few days / on Sat.
 
I didn't feel like sleeping and knocked out the PM version of the Stalla 1 Practice Exam, finished about 29min early. 72.5% - so an 82.08% composite between the two 3hr exams - took them with a 1hr break in between.

I am ok with that, hopefully will be enough . . .
 
My tallys were off on both of these - didn't break 90 yet . . .
Stalla Exam 1: AM: 88.33%
Stalla Exam 1 PM: 73.33%
Composite: 80.83

There is an error on Stalla's Exam 1 PM: #125 for ethics

"The company provides all those attending an analyst meeting with a high definition television emblazoned with the firm's logo. This device would likely cost slightly over $5000."

Based on this info, should analyst accept gift?

haha - yeah right - hilarious, must be a mistake.
 
CFA Mock 1: 77
CFA Mock 2: 78
mock1: 130mins mock2:140mins
Economics and FSA 66-70 in both exams
in Mock 2 I failed portfolio section (50%).

CFA mocks are much easier than schweser practice exams (vol 2!!!)
i lost all of my self-confidence while taking schweser.

...but I'm still scared&stressed :(

I hope this thread suffers from Survivorship bias and there are a lot of low scores out there to bring down these high averages.

If it makes you feel any better, the average score reported to Schweser equals ~64% on the Vol 1 exams. Average scores from 26,792 exams. Exams with scores less than 36% are not included in the average score.


Sample selection bias: AF is full of a bunch of die hards.
 
i just did 3am it was tough...but surprisingly got 85...expected 70s range...nice

69 cfa mock 1
72 schweser 1 AM
81 schweser qbank 120
77 cfa mock 2

2nd time taker; overall score a bit better than last round - hopefully enough to put me over

last time = fail at 9 band
 
Got a 76% on Mock 1 this past Sunday. Felt great.

Took Mock 2 on Wednesday and slipped to 66% and not feeling so great.

You guys consistently getting above 70 stop worrying! 70 is like a guaranteed pass! (almost)

I'm at a point where I either want another week or want to take the exam this moment. I can't decide what else to do in the next 1.5 days.
 
ya i'm basically done...i know what i know. I don't think I'll be having any more lightbulb moments from studying over the next 36 hours.

Got a 62 on Mock 1 3 weeks ago, and 77 on Mock 2 monday morning. I'm satisfied.
 
Hi guys,

I need some advice on what you think is the best strategy at this point.
I have completed:
-2 AM and PM BSAS mock exams
-1 & 2 AM and PM Shweser mock exams
-1 CFA sample exam, and Mock 1 and 2

I have Schweser 3 AM and PM and, Schweser Vol1 and Vol 2 full practice exams remaining that I have not attempted.

Should I do re-do exams I have already taken to make sure I have learned from my mistakes and just read the answers to the exams I have not taken, or should I continue to take the exams and try and get through as many of them as I can?

I plan to re-do the CFA Mock 1 and 2 and sample tomorrow to get into the CFA question mode.

Please advise on your thoughts regarding strategy.

Also how are you finding the difficulty? I think that CFA and BSAS ethics are a lot easier than the Schweser.
Will the exam be easier than the mocks that we have been doing?

My friend wrote in June. He was averaging between 65 and 75 on all exams and said the actual exam was much easier and felt he did very well (>85).

Mock 1 - 70%

So worried! FSA is the only wh0re left that is screwing me!

Also, I no longer like Econ, the CFAI ruined one of my favorite subjects...

just scored 74% on schweser exam 2 am. despite alot of the other scores on here, im pretty happy with that as its an improvement. bombed eco as usual (which ive written off for the exam) which dragged my scores down.

doing the 7 citys exam this afternoon. anyone done that? interested to hear scores
 
Finished vol 6

Schweser 1 am - 76
Schweser 1 pm - 78
Schweser 2 am - 84
Schweser 2 pm - 88
Schweser 3 am - 85
Schweser 3 pm - 83

Tomorrow one for run through books and I think I'm ready unless the real exam is harder than schweser...bring it on!
