Practice Exams Question

I just finished my first round through the Schweser readings and CFAI EOC questions. Is it better to run through the practice exams by topic first or should I just jump into a full practice exam?

I would do the online topic based practice tests first. Thats what I did, felt it prepared me for the mocks well

Somehow, I’ve been better ablet to grasp it all by doing EOC questions, then Topic based practice tests. I haven’t taken the mocks yet, but I will be starting them Mid Oct and feel prepared.

^^^ you got it. No secret to L1, just do the EOC’s each reading. After you finish a topic hit the topic based practice tests, once you cover everything hit the mocks.
I would add that it may be a bit before you finish everything so you can always go back and retake the topic based practice tests. Someone elaimed the CFAI last year and they said they had something like 2k or 3k questions in it (most likely from prior year mocks as they are already in the systems)
