Practice test books

Hi
I have the scwheser practise test books from when i last sat the level 3 exam in 2012. Are they ok to use or should i purchase the practice test books for this year from Schweser or an alternative company?
I decided to work from the CFAI books this time round, rather then using the Schweser notes

I think you’ve made a good decision going with CFA books. Schwesers and CFAI q styles differ a lot.
For more practice q, I think it will be good idea to do more CFAI morning and mock exams rather than purchasing third party exam. Just my opinion though.
 
I think there were a lot of changes in ths curriculum this year. You could use prior books, but youd have to worry about going over things that werent relevant this year. if you have the money, id get new ones.
 
Thanks for your replys…I will be of course going through the CFA mock exams/sample exams. If i was to get exam practice books from an alternative provider. Any reccomendations?
