Icetonez, I think with your score you would pass. Especially with a 70% or more in FSA.

I felt very very good about everything but Quant and Econ. The Bond stuff gave me a bit of trouble so I'm being conservative with that estimate, but I nailed ethics so I'm hoping even if I'm borderline that will put me over the top. I spent a lot of time the last 2 days reviewing ethics.

can you guys please explain to me how youre coming up with the scoring?

The scores are reported in the manner shown
The * indicates which bucket you fell into for each section. So you don't get a score you will get a star in the appropriate column.

The headings are:
< 50% 50%-70% >70%

So it will look like this in your score report:
<50% 50%-70% >70%
Ethics & Professional Standards - * -

Which basically means you scored between 50-70% on the Ethics and Professional Standards section, and it will just list them all down. Hope that helps

icetonez that's a cruel thing to say man. Even tho you're prob right lol.

But seriously how dumb is this post? Your posting fake scores. Just making me more nervous. I guess if it's making u feel better than I guess whatever works for u

In my case for example during the exam I felt pretty good about FSA and not so good about equities. I just want to see how my post exam sentiment will match up with actual results. Based on my level of preparation, mock/sample scores, and real exam difficulty and conditions I would have to say I failed if a gun were put to my head. I really hope I'm wrong.

I reckon it's borderline, but the above estimation should be pretty near to the mark. Can anyone pls. help out if it looks a Pass or a Fail? I absolutely nailed FSA and CF (easily more than 80%), but struggled a bit on Quant and Derivatives/ AI.

Thanks.

i think this is an alright thread. Really puts a base point for how people feal about the cfa exam vs. how they actually did. I suggest maybe you edit your post when the results come in so people can compare.. REGARDLESS of pass or fail!

Yea I guess, I just went thru the amt of questions for each section and guessed how many I think I got right in that section. For instance for FSA 43 out of 48, did that for every section and my score was a 71.66, actually made me feel a little better lol.

FAIL? (hearing how people in june were confident but came out with band 9 makes me sad)
