I’ll start off this thread with my own feelings. I came out of the exam thinking it was an overall fair exam. I can’t remember too much of it since I feel like I blacked out for 6 hours, but I do remember that I made REALLY stupid mistakes. Questions I knew the formulas for, but just freaked out which is unlike me. I think overall those silly mistakes cost me 15-20 points depending on how some of them are graded for AM session. I really don’t want to go through this again. From my vague recollection I assume I made at least 40-60 points of errors(including the silly mistakes) throughout the AM and PM that allows for another 48 points of incorrect answers throughout the exam to hit a 70% pass rate (252 points). I don’t know if this would put me in a pass or not. Really nervous, all I think/dream about is the exam.

As I’ve stated in other threads since the exam, i’m giving myself a 30% chance at passing.

It reads a similar situation! :-) those silly mistakes hurt so badly irrespective of result, especially when you know the calculations, concepts, and reason behind it! :(

Went into the exam scoring high 70s low 80s on mocks. Left AM feeling decent. PM was a cake walk. I will sacrifice a small child if I don’t pass.

Sometimes I doubt whether the questions are meaningful in any way to select better analysts.

I thought the AM was quite difficult and very time intensive. I thought the PM started out easy but got progressively tougher. I am quite disappointed and fairly certain I’ll be retaking the exam in 2016. If I had to guess, I would think I likely got a band 5 or band 6. Not too excited about the prospect of having to study for this one again.

I think, i should get 29/53 in the AM session (missed out on 7 points there; poor time mgmt.) and 45-46/60 in the evening. Don’t believe that I will clear with this score.

So 50% in AM and 75% in PM makes in 62.5% overall. I think you will pass with this score.

I am more worried about my Ethics and GIPS part. Is it true that you need to cross a minimum cut off of 50% in ethics, irrespective of your total score to pass the exam?

i’d bet my house that half of L3 candidates scored <50% on ethics and 40% scored 50-70%.
if i failed b/c of a bad Ethics score, i’m done pursuing the charter.

hope you’re right. I think I will have something similar. Although everytime I think about the exam I remember a new tricky question… My confidence is disappearing… I think no more analystforum for a while…

Was 80% confident that I’d pass. After reading the forums, I think my chances have dropped to 20%. Damn this forum
