Primary Reading Texts.

Just wondered how many of you here spent time reading thru the Primary Readings texts that were recommended by AIMR?
I think the general course of action was to read through the review notes set by stalla etc.

I feel it would make all the difference in the world if everyone read the original texts and then the review notes.
(on the flipside,the primary reading textbooks are mighty expensive to own though!)

Any opinions!?

I read through all the prelim readings just as a refresher. Was a bit peeved later on to realise that some of them, like for FSA were indeed a bit redundant as they were covered in the required readings. I work in a setting where I am able to use the prelim materials in my job (academic institution), so I have derived additional benefit from owning them...even friends have been able to use them
