Putting CFA exam on the resume, >70% on all topics

Hello,
After passing the CFA exam (which I expected), I was very surprised to find that I got over 70% in every section (I thought I failed ethics).
Does anyone have any suggestions on how they’ve incorporated passing the CFA exam in their resume? (whether or not you got >70% on all sections).
Further would you put this in the education area or achievements?
I am thinking the following two lines might work:
Passed Level I CFA Exam - 2010
Achieved score of 70% - 100% on all sections

Well this entirely depends on how you see your self.
If you are more of a hammer be sure to put it in bold.
If you are more of a drill bit i think you should create an entire section for it alone to signify its importance.
But i really cant help decided what you are, so i guess the question is…What kind of TOOL are you?
 
This is how I have it on my resume:
Mr. Ohai, ***CFA WITH ALL >70%, 3/3*** STAR STAR STAR
Ok but seriously, don’t put the section breakdown. It will make you look like a douchebag.
 
Haha. Hey Ski2Much, I think I am more of drill.
The reason I wanted to put it is because my GPA was for both undergrad and grad was between 3.0 and 3.5, and I don’t want to get automatically thrown out at all the places that look closely at GPA. My GMAT was 96th percentile as well, so I’m just trying to make the case that if you’re looking at academics, don’t drop me right off the bat, because I’ve achieved in areas other than just GPA.

I would think the GMAT would speak for itself but other people might feel different.
 
Bad idea. Only CFA candidates know that the score breaks down to a 70+ bracket, so people are going to read it as you got exactly 70 on a section, and without knowing how difficult a score of 70 on this test is, you will look silly.
Anyway, nobody gives a shit what your score was. This is a pass/fail test, and you dont get a refund for over studying.
 
Seriously, if I saw someone who put something like “I passed all sections with the highest score in each category” I would toss the resume because I don’t like working with d- bags. Don’t even consider adding it to your resume.
You could MAYBE mention it in an interview if someone asked how you did, but you’d have to frame it right so you don’t sound like a total jackass. Seriously, nobody is going to be that impressed anyways.
 
If I see someone writing ” all sections +70%-100% ” on their resume, and I had some time to spare, I’d invite them in for an interview, then cut them down a few notches. teach them some modesty.
Seriously, L1 is not difficult by any means. Celebrate you passed fine, but you only skimmed the surface. L2 and L3 will rip you a new one.

My World of Warcraft character just hit level 87, what would be the best way to show this on my resume? Thanks in advance.
But seriously though, level 1 is tough… compared to other industry courses the CFA program is definitely challenging. But there’s no need to boast about your matrix breakdown on your resume.

Definitely don’t put it in your resume. I made a small mention of it in my cover letter in brackets and even that I’m iffy about. That said, I don’t think it’s worth dismissing entirely given there’s a big difference between a 70% and an 80%. If you don’t include it just sneak it in during an interview or something.
 
I agree with the other posters here. I think getting over 70% in every section certainly is an accomplishment, but it can come across as douchey.
 
I see dozens of CVs every week & my advice is to NOT put that on your CV.
Passing all exams on the first attempt is quite impressive but anything more detailed than that = douchebaggery
 
I have cleared level 1 but i’m not sitting for the level 2 this year. I think i can not call myself as level 2 candidate. What do i write?
Level 1 CFA - Passed
Is that correct?
 
If going for level 2, put Level 2 Candidate
If not, I have passed Level I CFA
that sounds more professional
 
WOW level 87….. that way those that don’t know what WOW is will just think your have a lot of wow in your personality….
