Question about 2016 Version Book4 versus 2015 Version Book4

I just found out today 2016 Notes Book4 are 30 pages less than 2015 version, and they deleted the “Study Session 15: Introduction to Asset-Backed Securites”. I went back to look at CFA curriculum, there is still some ABS coverred in the curriculum. Will it be possible my 2016 notes lost the whole chapter or CFA Institute actually does delete the whole session?? I thought this part is pretty important when I studied fixed income in my grad school
Any thoughts?
 
They removed the entire reading “Introduction to Asset-Backed Securities” from Fixed Income for the 2016 exam.
If you log into your CFA account click Candidate Resources and there’s a link to “What changed from 2015 to 2016?” that details everything that was added, deleted or revised for this year’s Level II exam. Portfolio Management changed the most.
 
Thanks so much for your help! I think this is a pretty big change, but I am glad i dont have to review that!
