Question Order

A lecturer in the review course I am taking mentioned that the exam questions are ordered - ie. all questions for each area are one after the other, as opposed to being random. Could someone confirm or dispute this?
Also, sorry if this has been answered - I searched but the amount of posts that come up when you try to search about exam questions is too large.
