Question to Nitya36 about FRM...

nitya36; on what basis you stated that Schweser notes for FRM are not nearly as good as the GARP notes? Do you have both notes?

GARP is more detailed.I dont have schweser.
Many ppl do pass FRM just by reading schweser(things will change soon as more talented guys from asia pacific are writing this exam)
this time alone, No has increased by 30-40%
see, everyone is different(considering the finance background you have)
for example, in CFA, original notes from CFAI helped me a lot to understand fundamentals
If you have time ,always go for GARP notes.Its the Best becoz its from the original books.

I used GARP book to prepare for FRM. I also think the book is great, not too much extra info.

now iam unsiin schweser material for FRM..i think GARP would help me better....
