Does any one of you participate in the virtual stock exchange competition online? It's the one where you trade with fake money. This virtual stock exchange contest is sponsored by MarketWatch.

The reason I'm asking is because I have a question on how to set up some of its features. I want to know whether any of you know how to set one's portfolio to private.

I'll appreciate any assistance.

Thanks!

I don't know much about the MarketWatch format, but if you haven't already, you should try www.marketocracy.com

They have long funds and just added short funds. They have a ranking system too. Unfortunately, I don't believe they offer cash prizes, but the account has many features. It calculates your alpha, beta, returns vs S&P, and they send you monthly and quarterly reports by email. It's pretty in depth....

Just a suggestion! I will have to check out the MarketWatch competition. If I find out anything, I will let ya know.

Did you see the the person that won the CNBC Challenge actually got 6th, but they had to disqualify the top 5 people? I love this country!
