Re-tab?

Has anyone ever had their grade changed from fail to pass based off of a re-tab? I didn’t feel overwhelmed during exam but still failed (band 9) and was considering a re-tab.

From what I’ve read around this forum it’s like taking a 100 dollar bill and lighting it on fire. But I would call the CFAI and ask about what’s involved before asking here. If they check your bubbles by hand for example and compare it to the results of the scanning machine it may be worth it, but I somewhat doubt they do that.
