After successfully completing the FRM and CAIA , i think that there are no short cuts to success other than reading the materials (schweser books for me) twice and do lots of practice questions. Find your weaknesses from the result of the practise exams and read the materials again for the 3rd time.
Unlike the comment above, I tend not to study too early because if i do then i find myself demotivated and tired when it comes to the last 3 weeks of the exam.
I did spent alot more time on the bigger topics i.e HF and PE
I used schweser notes for all my exams and found it enough to pass but i’ve had total 4 years experience in HF,PE and Risk so my experience may have helped quite abit.
