it was in the silibus dude. anything in the LOS must be assumed to come out.
in fact according to my friend, at least 50% of the LOS will always be tested in the exam in both papers. its all about covering enough LOS to pass.

i didn’t think ethics was too bad to be honest, a couple of fiddly questions but i’m hoping i did enough for 9/12
last year for L2 I thought ethics was the only section I’d get >70% for but it turned out to be the only one that I didn’t…

I actually love ethics, I spent the least time studying for it and I know of people who studied 50 hours just for ethics are on the same boat as me. Ethics are always vague and you should use your common sense sometimes, imagine on the real life situation, there is no definitely right or wrong answer, and there is sometime you dont have any precedent to refer to, you have to use your common sense!

There was one question in Ethics that was somewhat vague in the CFA text. I think (or hope) when something is vague in the Codes that means that there is not something specifically required. I wrote the Institute just to confirm.

If only it was that easy I think we would all ace it.
Since there is the code of ethics, standards of practice handbook and AM code, and they may have conflicting portions of what is recommended compared to required, it would be hard to decipher between them through reasoning alone, I think.
